Jabez was named so as we had just read the book, The Prayer of Jabez, and it so well fit our homestead experience we had to have a namesake for it. Jabez was Gram's Sweetie's first freshening. Sweetie was one of the last kids from Glaze, our very first doe to come here. Thank you, Anna Bennet, for purchasing Jabez and giving him a good home!
